| La Forge Estate Wines originate from the meeting of three different worlds of wine: France, Australia, Italy, different know how put together by Grorgio Grai and Jean-Claude Mas. The result is wine with an outstanding personality and elegance. At La Forge Estate we craft our wines from low yield vines (2.5 tons per acre), with a traditional long maceration. The wine is then aged in oak barrelsfor a time determined by Giorgio and Jean Claude. |

Viognier |
La Forge Estate's Viognier is partly narrel fermented (30% barrel, 70% stainless steel) and aged in an oak barrel for 3 months. This process allows the essence of dry fruits, violette and quince flavors evolving toward peach and vanilla notes. On the palate you will discover a rich and full white wine.

Merlot |

La Forge Estate's Merlot is aged in oak barrels for 8 months, resulting with red and black berry flavors developing toward plum and cocoa notes. Tour tastes will discover a refined wine, velvety and rich.

Cabernet Sauvignon |
La Forge Estate's Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 8 months in oak barrels, resulting in a quintessence of rasbpberry and blueberry flavors, evolving towards red pepper and humidor notes. On the palate you will discover a structured wine, fruity and persistant.
This wine is a top 100 in the 2008 Vins de Pays of France Gold Medal.

Pinot Noir |

La Forge Estat's Pino Noir is a complx medium to full bodied wine. Aged for 6 months in oak barrels the aromas and flavors resulting are those of red fruit, blackcurrant and cherry. One can even find a few spicy notes and a hint of vanilla.

La Forge Estate's last offering, Syrah, is also aged for 8 months in oak barrels resulting with the essence of blackcurrant and floral aromas evolving toward violet, spicy and leather notes. Your palate will be charmed wiht it's warm character and discover a rich, mellow and full bodied wine.
